Brrrr, it has been crazy cold here. We went to leave this morning and my damn truck would not start. I left my Ham Radio on (For a few days) and it drained the battery. I thought cars were smart enough to combat this and turn off the power draw so it would not kill…

Check this out! I am very excited about this, ‘The United States Frequency Allocations – The Radio Spectrum’. I bought the poster on Amazon, Lisa picked up the $80 frame from Hobby Lobby (50% off) and I mounted it in the frame. The poster was in a tiny tube rolled tighter than you can imagine,…

Well the snow came in, and it brought the cold with it too, damn! I made this little ‘Stella Spot!’ out back so she has some grass to go potty on, covered it with the patio rug before the snow started. Now all I have to do is run out before her, and fold it…

Went out today to buy a new snow shovel, it has been a LONG time and my current one is cracked, shipped, broken, and ready to bust into pieces. I ran into Ace in Johnstown, talked to a couple employees there and we all jokingly played with all the shovels they had in stock. I…

Seems like I spend half of my day looking for Stella, and she spends half of her day looking for me. She is easy to find in the bed, usually a big bump under the covers, but sometimes she likes to be perched up on the pillows and when she lays down to sleep –…

Rori always likes to come out to the garage when we are out here, and if we are playing darts, she wants in on the game! I can usually take the tip off the dart and let her throw the shaft and flight, but of course that never sticks and really is not that much…

Today there were a couple big hawks right up in the tree staring down at our back yard. They were intently watching Stella as she ran round on the grass, I was on the patio and they really did not notice me yet. As soon as I walked out into the year I watched both…

I have been working on building ‘The Perfect Dart’ for a while, I just added some 33mm steel tips that I think put the finishing touch on my dart set! A little bit longer than the original set, adding little bit of weight to the front of the dart, and a cool oxidized gold color…

Josh & Nik took us out for dinner tonight for selling the BMW for them. It really was an easy sell, had one person look at it, the second guy bought it. Easy Peasy! I was thinking some decent Mexican food, Josh and I pondered a couple places and came up with the Cactus Grill…
