I have been playing around with the laser lately, going to get some coffee mugs and practice engraving on them. That is super cool because when you engrave them, what it does is burn off the paint and show the stainless steel below. Super cool but probably a bit tricky.
This is a little puzzle I picked up at Hobby Lobby and engraved a Paw Patrol image to it. Turned out good and right now I am focusing on practicing perfect image placement on things. This one turned out pretty good, the wood was a little warped from sitting but looks pretty centered and ‘right on’ for me!
I am not sure if I am going to put a clear coat over this, maybe a light one just to shine it up a bit – but it might make the pieces all stick together.
I may be breaking it apart and testing it by putting it back together afterwards.
