Lisa took the day to set up all of her Fall Decorations today. They turned out really good and the house looks very festive and ready for fall/Halloween!
I helped her out where I could, hauled all the containers up from the storage int he basement, then hauled them back down when they were emptied.
My goal for the day was to do some painting in the garage. Paint the wall that had soot from the old heater, and they piece of wood the new heater is hanging on.
It was a pain in the butt, and many many trips up and down the 10′ step ladder. Damn! Quite the work out.
It turned out pretty good, while I hate painting, I guess I did an OK job! Definitely whiter than the rest of the garage – maybe I need to keep going and do the whole garage. Oh good god, that is ALOT of painting.
Not today!
I finished what I planned, and Josh can complete the venting and install tomorrow!
WoW (Words of Wisdom): Day 30 – You do matter
Tell yourself that you do matter; and because you matter it is important to spend time and energy on helping yourself feel better. Self-care is finding a way to build yourself up.
Hectic schedules can drain your energy and keep you so busy that you often forget to take care of yourself both physically and emotionally. Take a moment to stop and think about what you need to do to enable you to perform at your very best.
Regular self-care can improve your well-being and self-esteem. It also increases resiliency that you need to help you to bounce back when problems come up in your life.
