Motion Lights

Lights!

I bought a few little motion lights they had on sale from Walmart, they are small, bright and rechargeable. I started installing them in cool places that sometimes need a little extra light, what better place than a dark bathroom at night?

Ha ha!

It makes the Bonzi tree look super cool, and maybe that extra ‘little light’ will help it grow! Doh! Now when you reach for the toilet (Or even just get near) it illuminates the bathroom perfectly.

I have one under the counter over my coffee maker, my cutting board and two in my office underneath the middle shelf on my bookshelf.

Pretty cool, custom little accent lights makes everything look just a bit better.

So far I have used up 6 of the 8 I ordered, where will the other two land? who knows, look for the light!

WoW (Words of Wisdom): Day 16 – Habit Stacking

One of the best ways to build a new habit is to identify a current habit you already do each day and then stack your new behavior on top. This is called habit stacking.

The habit stacking formula is: “After [CURRENT HABIT], I will [NEW HABIT].”

The key is to tie your desired behavior into something you already do each day. Once you have mastered this basic structure, you can begin to create larger stacks by chaining small habits together.

Exercise. When I see a set of stairs, I will take them instead of using the elevator.

Social skills. When I walk into a party, I will introduce myself to someone I don’t know yet.

Finances. When I want to buy something over $100, I will wait twenty-four hours before purchasing.

This is a fantastic way to incorporate new habits into your daily routine.
