As said by Mr. Myiagi. “Paint trim.”
We are finally wrapping up this remodel project, they will be done today. Whew, the month of August to install new hardwood floor. Ouch.
After a few ‘heated meetings’ with the flooring company, and complaining about all the stuff they did half assed or wrong, we came to an agreeable price. It worked in our favor, but had they taken their time, spent one more day finishing everything and cleaning up after they were done, it all could have been avoided.
Oh well, lessoned learned.
We are happy with the finished floor, it did turn out very good. I think we will be cleaning dust up out of the house for the next month though.
When the trim is finished and painted, the project will be complete. Still kind of at awe that they would not paint the trim? Weird business model if you ask me.
WoW (Words of Wisdom): Day 11 – Finding your true purpose
Your purpose is not one job, it’s not one relationship, it’s not even one career field. Your purpose is, first and foremost, just to be here.
Without you, absolutely nothing would exist just as it is right now.
When you realize that you are always impacting the world around you, you start to realize something: The most important thing you can do to live meaningful is to work on yourself.
To consciously become the happiest, kindest, and most gracious version of yourself.
