Wow, end of July already – summer is screaming by quicker than I want it to, damn… We are on Day 7 of our trip and are having a blast. As you can see, Stella is comfortable and ‘she owns this camper’. Ha ha!
We have just been rolling each day, pick our next stop in the morning when we get up. Today was a long drive, we landed in Raton NM at a nice KOA. It is the first day where it is actually cool and nice, you can go outside without dying form the humidity.
There is a laundry facility here, and we needed it. We did a couple loads of laundry and we are stocked up with fresh, clean clothes and ready to head on.
We are just south of home, and will be back in Colorado tomorrow. Still going to drag it out a couple more days and visit some places on the way up north.
Lisa is worried we will have a hard time finding camping spots on the weekend in Colorado. I think we will be able to, may not be the big sites that people flock to – but we will find somewhere to set up camp!
