Man, what a mess – this is the ‘Frist time’ to have a serious messy misprint on my new 3d printer. I started the print, made sure it was good to go and looked good before stepping away, and then apparently – never came back.
What the heck?
It blew up real good and we had a hell of a 3D print explosion!
Well, back to the drawing block, and a bunch of filament got all jammed up in the printhead and stick to everything. a pain in the butt to clean up.
I do have a few new hot ends in case I need to replace it, but this one survived to see another round.
A little picking, pulling, cleaning and removing melted filament got er’ all back in tip-top shape and she is ready to print again!
I am going to move the printer downstairs for now, emptying the first floor to get ready for the remodel. Fun fun!
