I threw another panel up on the roof of the shed, on pointing east, and one pointing west. This will capture all of the evening sun, which is pretty killer around here… And charge my batteries up just a bit more before nightfall.
They are 175 watts each, so 350 watt total input to Lithium Phosphate batteries, pretty god ‘minimal’ system, I would do 10 batteries if I could afford them! That would build it out nice.
Right now it runs the pool pump, a PC, 2 Meshtastic nodes, and a fan to keep it all cool! More of a hobby deployment providing me fun, free power and well, a free running pool 24/7.
Solar is still pretty inefficient, but throwing more panels and more batteries at it easily resolves those inefficiencies.

I am looking forward to using my Power bank and solar panels when we head out on vacation. Sure we have a full generator set up and all, but hey – if you can do it with power from the sun, why not.
My first thought it to power the TV and Dish Network set up with the Power bank, silent, quick and easy!
Gonna give that a try!
