Lisa loves fresh cut flowers in the house and today she did not have to go far, she picked these from our garden… If that is what you call it, they are planted all around the back yard by the fence.
So ‘locally grown’ fresh flowers for sure!
The previous owners did an amazing job on the landscaping and layout of our property, but damn. We are finding it is a bit of work to keep everything growing and going.
And the things you DON’T want to grow, grow faster and stronger than anything else.
Damn weeds!
We hired “The weed man’ for the summer to spray for weeds and fertilize our yard every month. They have been out once and wow, what a difference. Well worth the money.
Now I need to find a teenager that needs some spending money to pull weeds and do some basic gardening skills that my old back just does not like doing.
