I always love making Green Chili, brings me back to the days where we used to make it for the food truck… Ah, those were the days, I used to have to make A LOT of Green Chili!
Each time it is a little different, and now-a-days I have to be be careful not to make it too hot, for Lisa’s sake – actually she has never liked it too hot.
But, sometimes, you just cant control it. This time I made it with a port tenderloin I was going to use for dinner, but it just looked a little too small for all of us, so what better thing to do? Throw it in a pot of Green Chili.
Good choice!
I tried a new recipe and slow cooked everything in the crock pot, it turned out fantastic. No where even near hot, but very good tasting.
Ya know, I have not been able to find a HOT Jalapeno around here at all this year. they all taste like green peppers. What is up with that?
Mine are growing in the garden already and I am hoping for some HOT ones this year!!
