First fuel at Buc-ee’s

We have been here many, MANY times, even ‘parked’ at a fuel pump before but I have never actually filled up the truck with fuel here, till today.

We stopped to get some snacks and a couple other things, got a nice parking spot right up front and went in and spent way too much money, came out with some good things to eat and sat there and chowed down everything!

They are in the process of removing all the grass around the place, I guess the water bills were enormous and they did not want that as a monthly payment.

I hear you Buck-ee’s, I hear you! My Johnstown water bill is enormous too, what the heck?? And we are heading into the expensive time of the year right now!!

I think they need to put some picnic tables around here so people could sit down and enjoy their food a bit. But no, they want you to come in, get your stuff and get on down the road.
