Weeds

While this is a beautiful picture of the backyard before sunrise, with our awesome lawn sculpture in the middle, what is up with the small fence aournd the edge?

Well, we have started a battle on the weeds in there. A week ago we pulled them all and this was ready to be sprayed with week killer or ‘ground clear’. I built the small fence to keep the dogs our of there after we spray it.

In that time, take a look at it. They grew back, even more than before.

We pulled them by the roots, all the way down in the ground, and they grew back elsewhere. With all the rain we have been having, this is a continuous job. But damn, this is a little crazy!

I am going to go out there and do it again, then same day – spray the ground.

I have a little lawn stool thing I can kneel down on and go to town, the weeds are up close and personal then – I am going to get them all and SOAK this with weed killer!

Then the plan is to either replace the mulch, or maybe even go with rock?

Not sure yet – but anything will look better than our ‘weed farm’.
