it is not much but hey, it’s a start! Got a few tomato’s in the grans and secured to grow poles so they don’t fall over, and nicely spaced so it does not become a jungle like it did last year.
I had everything so close last year, you could not tell what was what, where it was growing and where the hell you should water it. Then came the pumpkins, squash and cucumbers – they said ‘all this space – it’s mine.’
By the time it was said and done it was time to harvest and everything was every where. Not a bad thing but not a great thing either. I needed to give them a little more room to ‘do their thing’.
This year, no viny things in the garden, they will go out by the fences in other flower beds, then they can grow and grow where ever they want!
We gotta do pumpkins, watermelons, and cucumbers too. Not to big on the squash myself, but I know Lisa likes them.
It is going to be much more organized, better spaced, and a better harvest for sure this year!!!
