Here is my latest Laser project, a cutting board for Natalie’s friends parents. (In Florida I believe) …so my work is making it across the nation! Wooo hooo!
I like these cutting boards as they are very close to the since of a standard sheet of paper (8 1/2″ x 11″) and rectangle, so they are easy to line up and keep square.
I hit this one good, one cut, set deep, laser running at 80% power for a nice, clean, deep cut. I am getting better for sure!
Nat and I are going to try some coffee tumblers next. The ones that are painted and whatever you engrave burns the paint off and it is silver or aluminum color underneeth.
I have a tumbler turner that wires into the laser and rotates the cup as it engraves. Might be a bit tricky to set up, but I will get it!
Trail and error, then error, then you usually get it right!
