I just got the fireplace fixed today, back when it was cold I went to turn it on and no go… Pilot lit but the flame would never start.
(It worked when we moved in because I tested it…)
I tried all the basics, even bought a new controller – the usual thing that goes out, but no luck. Finally had to call a repairman.
His schedule was boooooked and it took a month to get him out here. He checked it out and quickly realized it was a bad gas valve. Had to order that.
A few weeks later when it came in, he came out and installed it.
Wooo hooo, we have a fireplace! And man does she warm up the place nicely!!!
Stella really enjoyed the heat and quickly made her bed right there int he heat!
Win win for all of us – let’s stay warm while the last bit of winter makes it’s way out of here and spring sets in!
