We got up this morning and Lisa was getting ready to leave for work, the wind was kicking and I decided I better go find some rebar or stakes to hold the darn swing set down and keep it from blowing over.
I found some rebar and some wire and headed out to take care of it as she drove off. By the time she made it out of the neighborhood, and I grabbed a hammer and jacket the damn thing had blown over and was on it’s top as she drove by.
Son of a ^%%$#@!!
I went out there and it was too windy to stand it back up so I rolled it on it’s top against the fence and let it lay. It was not damaged or broken, and very ‘stiff’ from the work I did on it yesterday – certainly more solid and sound than it used to be.
I ran to Ace at lunch and got some 18″ Stakes, after work I stood this thing back up and staked it down to the ground very tight.
It will not move again!
If the wind gets bad again, it will just take the top off instead of flipping it – time will tell!
