And we are off… Bight and early for an 8:00am flight. Hit the road, hit the airport and were in the air for a very short light 1 hour 35 minutes, landed in Dallas and our journey begins.
We were in a brand new plane from southwest, standard 737 but very nice, clean and new! Grabbed our rental car and headed down the road to Bedford Texas where the hotel is.
We stopped at Whataburger, it was good, very ‘Sonic’ like, nothing to write home about. Freddy’s still has my vote for the best burger hands down!
The hotel was nice, actually pretty fancy – but no hot tub? What the hell?
Never seen a hotel without a hot tub, nice big outdoor pool, but it is in the 40’s out – no swimming for me! ha ha!
We ordered a pizza to the room for dinner, it was good and then just hung out to wind down our travel day!
