We took off today int he rain to explore Colonial Williamsburg, it was pretty awesome and would be a whole weekend event if you did it right and covered everything there was to see!
We hit some of the high points and saw everything we could. There was a shuttle that would drop you off in whatever ‘neighborhood’ you wanted to check out so it was pretty easy to get around.
There were people dressed as the part in every building, pretty darn cool – and they were sharp! they have studied the part and talked well to what happened in their building back in the day!
We finished the tour off by having lunch at an old tavern, it was interesting, pretty good – yet different. But still a good time!
Josh and I had an old beer of the time ‘Ole Stitch’ – poor ole boys back in the day, I bet they got schnockered!!! ha ha!
