It is time to turn on the sprinklers, yeah maybe a ‘Tad’ early but I am going to do it.
We have a BIG sprinkler system that covers the front, back, side and garden. Many zones, 5 boxes in the ground and well, a lot to figure out.
I can say everything around the new house is very clean, done right and documented pretty darn good! Nicely labeled, easy to understand and a good kick start to get me rolling.
The set up in the basement was simple and easy to re-engage for the summer season. The vales outside were opened and winterized just like I used to to the system at the farm.
Easy enough.
But when I turned it all on the box out front instantly flooded, and the boxes out back were doing the same.
I closed the valve out front but still no pressure on zone one.
Turned it all off and went out back to find a small flood on three of the boxes in the yard. I will have to let it dry out and get in there to find the vales to turn off tomorrow.
Dammit.
