Well really it is not my first laser, I built one that would connect to the head of my 3D printer and did some testing and engraving. It was a fun and learning experience!
This one is going to be much better! My last one was only 3 wats, this one is 22 watts.
So it can engrave, cut and works with many materials!
In the old days the only thing I could really engrave to was paper grocery bags, they seemed to work best!
I am looking forward to making some projects and engraving everything I can. This all started back before Christmas because we got the boys a nice bottle of Whiskey and the lady at the store engraved it – right on the glass!
It was awesome!
Putting it all together was not bad, took about an hour and a half – then I was ready for some testing.
