I took the ‘Vette out today and drove up to Nikki’s house, Lisa was there with Rori since the kids are out of town she is staying at their house to watch the baby!
I put the top back in yesterday and man, what a pain in the &^%&^##@! it was. It was off most of the summer and I would just cover the car with the top stored in the back hatch, made it quick and easy to go for a ride ‘Topless’!
Since it has really been cooling down, time to put it back in and run it in Normal mode!
Well I think the new rubber liked the extra room to stretch it’s legs and expand over the summer! Sheesh, I fought like hell to get it bolted back down and tightened evenly to seal and prevent air leaks.
Took me over an hour to get 4 bolts in and synch er’ down!
Job complete, and it was really nice to drive it today – she runs like a champ and it fun to scream down the highway!!!
