Firewood

Here is a picture of my firewood stack so far. Row 2 is not quite full yet, but almost. When it is all said and done, there will be about 4 cords of wood there, one cord a month? Should last us through the winter.

I am going to keep going, I think it will be closer to probably 6 cords when I feel comfortable! After these 4 rows I might just make a big pile out back.

Stacking the wood is the worst part of the whole process!

Cutting it, fine… Splitting, easy! Hauling and stacking, sucks! ha ha!

Hurts my back and takes the most time.

All part of the process, I will love it when I can step out the sliding glass door onto the patio and the wood is stacked right there!

That will be nice!
