Had a buddy call me and ask about what radio I would recommend for a bug out bag just in case SHTF (Shit Hit’s The Fan)…

Of course I recommended the inexpensive Baofeng UV-5R, they are great for just about anything and an awesome radio.

Add on the big antenna and they are even better.

Wait, SHTF? He seriously thinks something is coming down and wants to be able to communicate with his Daughter.

Him, did I miss something or what?

Guess I better start digging in a bit more behind the scenes and preparing for the worse.

First stop, stock up on toilet paper!
