Check out my new bike, picked up this fine machine at Walmart and I have been getting my workout on by bike riding.
Man you know you are out of shape when you have a hard time riding a bike. My ride consists of 1 mile on the dirt road, 1/2 mile each way, and then 3 miles on the trail, which is pretty nice and smooth, and off of the road!
The dirt road sucks, it is way too wash-boardy for a bicycle, and the ride on the trail to the baseball diamonds is nice – mostly downhill and an easy ride.
The ride home, 90% uphill and it really gets your heart going for sure. It is tough but you feel good after completing 4 miles.
By the time I get home, whew – I am done!
I think if I keep this up for a while, weight loss WILL happen! I hope so!
