Brewed up a new batch of beer today, some Watermelon Wheat. Sounds like a good, refreshing batch for a summer beer.
It was a very simple recipe with very little ingredients to maintain the night color. I have to add some watermelon extract flavoring when I keg/bottle it.
I should add a small hint of red food coloring to give it a red tint and make it real!
Ha! Might give that a try, I do not know!
Have to see ‘how’ light it really is when the time comes.
Red to give it that ‘watermelon’ look huh? Why not!
Service it with a small slice of watermelon on the glass, now we are talking! A tasty and FUN summer beer!
