{"id":801,"date":"2024-02-27T03:58:01","date_gmt":"2024-02-27T10:58:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=801"},"modified":"2024-03-02T04:05:41","modified_gmt":"2024-03-02T11:05:41","slug":"bye-bye-tool-box","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2024\/02\/27\/bye-bye-tool-box\/","title":{"rendered":"Bye bye tool box"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Man, now if this is not a piece of history leaving the farm, my old Craftsman toolbox.&nbsp; Wow!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bought it back when I was 18 or 19 maybe?&nbsp; 1983 or 1984?&nbsp; Paid $100 for it used, and sold it today for $100.&nbsp; Good investment?&nbsp; To break even over 40 years, and all of the use I got out of it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crazy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My story: I was the 13 licensed emission mechanic in Colorado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My state license number was #00013 \u2013 there was still some paperwork attached to the side of the toolbox from back then, the emission limits that would pass or fail a car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Man were times different back then, memories\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was sad to see it drive away, so I had to capture the moment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Man, now if this is not a piece of history leaving the farm, my old Craftsman toolbox.&nbsp; Wow!
