{"id":712,"date":"2024-01-29T05:24:08","date_gmt":"2024-01-29T12:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=712"},"modified":"2024-02-04T05:29:31","modified_gmt":"2024-02-04T12:29:31","slug":"concrete-is-done","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2024\/01\/29\/concrete-is-done\/","title":{"rendered":"Concrete is done"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wow, finally the concrete in the barn is done!&nbsp; Impressive, these guys did a WONDERFUL job \u2013 6\u201d thick with rebar!&nbsp; It is now ready to withstand the test of time for sure!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I went out there the next morning and walked it, wow!&nbsp; It was like a sauna from all of the moisture \u2013 it was even dripping off the ceiling!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I love the smell of new concrete, and boy did it smell in here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had to open up the overhead door to let the steam and moisture out, hoping it would help to dry it out a bit with some fresh air and sunshine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It will need 7 days to cure before you can drive anything on it, and since they used the road base in front of the door \u2013 the ramp leaving up \u2013 that will need to be fixed and backfilled with new road base before anything can drive in!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wow, finally the concrete in the barn is done!&nbsp; Impressive, these guys did a WONDERFUL job \u2013 6\u201d thick with rebar!&nbsp; It is now ready to withstand the test of time for sure!
