{"id":663,"date":"2024-01-13T03:33:03","date_gmt":"2024-01-13T10:33:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=663"},"modified":"2024-01-18T03:41:26","modified_gmt":"2024-01-18T10:41:26","slug":"1982-z28","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2024\/01\/13\/1982-z28\/","title":{"rendered":"1982 Z28"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Man I remember these days, the old Camaro\u2019s \u2013 well not really \u2018old\u2019 back then but now, looking back.\u00a0 I had several of the third gen style and I loved them all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact, Lisa and I met on Main Street in Longmont, I had a 1983 Z28, Maroon with a \u00a0small block 400 in it.\u00a0 Ahhh, those were the days!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I really need to see if I can find some old pictures, I remember I bought a motor from an old wrecked police car, rebuilt it, dropped in a big cam, a gear drive and painted the block PINK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dropped it in where an old stock 305 was, put all the cross-fire fuel injection back on and bamn, she was a pretty fast and hot car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pink block?\u00a0 Yeah the car was maroon with pink pinstriping!
