{"id":632,"date":"2024-01-03T04:41:31","date_gmt":"2024-01-03T11:41:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=632"},"modified":"2024-01-06T04:48:48","modified_gmt":"2024-01-06T11:48:48","slug":"my-indoor-farm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2024\/01\/03\/my-indoor-farm\/","title":{"rendered":"My Indoor Farm"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have been working on my indoor farm and my goal is to produce fruit (Jalapenos) inside and totally grown under artificial light.&nbsp; I noticed they were turning a little pale and had some leaves fall off so I had to update my set up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was using a small 100 watt LED lamp from Sam\u2019s that worked very well, I just did not think it had enough power to drive the photosynthesis in the leaves\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I have a BIG powerful 2000 watt LED lamp but it is heavy, so I had to move them from my dresser back into the tent (Which I moved inside for warmth) and am running it at \u00bd power (1000 Watts) to see if I can darken the color of the leaves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In reality, I should have some peppers budding by January 24<sup>th<\/sup>, so we will see.&nbsp; I picked Jalapenos because they are easy to grow and seem to grow really great outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have a variety of other things in there and two house plants, damn those things were not cheap!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If anyone has any houseplants or clippings they want to donate, I am open!!&nbsp; Need to get some greenery around the house this year!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have been working on my indoor farm and my goal is to produce fruit (Jalapenos) inside and totally grown under artificial light.&nbsp; I noticed they were turning a little pale and had some leaves fall off so I had to update my set up.
