{"id":462,"date":"2023-11-09T07:30:25","date_gmt":"2023-11-09T14:30:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=462"},"modified":"2023-11-13T07:36:40","modified_gmt":"2023-11-13T14:36:40","slug":"streaming-locals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2023\/11\/09\/streaming-locals\/","title":{"rendered":"Streaming locals"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I got a firestick for the TV at work, and then hooked up to Plex at home over the internet and bamn, just like that we have local TV in the office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kinda funny since we are in the biggest, oldest building on campus, The Fitzsimons Hospital building, which is solid brick, block, granite, hell I do not know what it is made of but there is NO ANTENNA RECEPTION here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So\u2026 I can connect to my 50\u2019 tower at home and use the antenna there!&nbsp; Nice!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nice to be able to watch the news and see what is going on around town and with the weather, and then flip it over to Netflix, or on of the streaming services to run a movie in the background!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Makes the time in the office a bit more enjoyable!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I got a firestick for the TV at work, and then hooked up to Plex at home over the internet and bamn, just like that we have local TV in the office.
