{"id":381,"date":"2023-10-14T12:16:23","date_gmt":"2023-10-14T18:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=381"},"modified":"2023-10-16T12:23:02","modified_gmt":"2023-10-16T18:23:02","slug":"natalies-wood-burning-stove","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2023\/10\/14\/natalies-wood-burning-stove\/","title":{"rendered":"Natalie&#8217;s wood burning stove"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Natalie&#8217;s wood burning stove, installed and not quite ready to burn.&nbsp; We did a small test fire after they installed it then I really got to looking at their work and it just was not right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had it installed by a professional company but something was just missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They used double wall venting, where mine is triple wall and they did not leave any clearance going through the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Called them back and they consulted and agreed with what I told them.&nbsp; They are coming back to fix it properly and refunding my money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All and all a great company, and he was quite embarrassed when I mentioned what was wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I remember because Dave (Lisa\u2019s Dad) and I installed ours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was overly careful and did everything to code to make sure our house and us were safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next week they are coming back to redo this and make it right!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Natalie&#8217;s wood burning stove, installed and not quite ready to burn.&nbsp; We did a small test fire after they installed it then I really got to looking at their work and it just was not right.
