{"id":288,"date":"2023-09-14T13:35:33","date_gmt":"2023-09-14T19:35:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=288"},"modified":"2023-09-18T13:44:30","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T19:44:30","slug":"an-old-console-stereo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/14\/an-old-console-stereo\/","title":{"rendered":"An old console stereo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I picked up this beast today, look at it!&nbsp; 1979, probably bought at Mongomery Wards from the ole Christmas catalog. &nbsp;&nbsp;Soo funny!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thought it would be good to mess with it, get it working, clean it up a bit and play with it.&nbsp; This thing is SO HEAVY though, we loaded it by hand, barely.&nbsp; Then broke a side off of the bottom and well, it is kinda messed up now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I looked at it and the main power supply board appears to be bad, no power anywhere so it is really not worth fixing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or even playing with\u2026&nbsp; Darn<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Good intentions, bad idea\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hey I have done that more than once in my life!
