It was advertised as a VHS player only as the DVD player did not work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I took it apart and found a gear was missing that went on the shaft of the motor.  Turned it upside down and shook it all around, and a little white gear fell out on the floor.  Put it back in place with some electronics tweezers and a drop of super glue so it does not come of again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now I have a working DVD player too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may ask what the hell is he doing with a VHS player?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am providing a service for customers to convert their VHS home movies to digital file format, for $10.  Send me your tape, I send it back with a USB drive and your digital files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo?fbid=122169358688460982&amp;set=a.122105643938460982\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo?fbid=122169358688460982&amp;set=a.122105643938460982<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WoW (Words of Wisdom): Day 39 \u2013 All talk, no action<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Henry Ford, a man of action, said it best, \u201cYou can\u2019t build a reputation on what you\u2019re going to do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of us are all talk, but no action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can get on social media, tag yourself at the gym, talk about \u201cit\u2019s time for a change in my life\u201d, talk about how \u201chard\u201d you\u2019ve been working on yourself, get a bunch of \u201clikes\u201d and \u201ccomments\u201d, and THINK you\u2019re actually doing something positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019re actually tricking yourself into thinking you\u2019re making some kind of progress!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t tell the world what you are doing, do it first, they will see and follow.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I picked up this jewel off of market place with a big box of VHS tapes.
