Lisa and I ran up to Drake CO to look at a cabin that was for sale this morning, decent price – looking to maybe turn it into a rental… The had tiny cabins across the street going for $2000\/month rent! WOW!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was a quick ride up highway 34 from out house, not too bad but man, needs a bit of work. The inside is redone and VERY impressive, the rest of it – not so much. It has like 1.1 acres with it, but that is straight up the cliff of the mountain and 100% not usable (Unless you are a mountain climber).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It includes a dual seater outhouse, (Nice) There is a bathroom inside also, ha ha! But there is ZERO cell service there, and a 500 gallon tank for fresh water you would have to haul, runs on Propane (We have done THAT before) and the lot is pretty tight (The usable lot at least) about 120′ x 120′.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think we will have to pass, looking form something maybe a little more luxurious. And the neighbors, wow their places were even worse looking, and Lisa said one of them sat in their truck staring at us. Ha ha! Mountain people! Look out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oh and they have BEARS! 1\/2 sheets of plywood with screws pointing up through the wood about 1″ apart all through the board. In front of every window and door. Nope, not going to do that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
