{"id":2645,"date":"2025-09-03T08:42:51","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T14:42:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=2645"},"modified":"2025-09-04T08:57:49","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T14:57:49","slug":"traeger-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2025\/09\/03\/traeger-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Traeger Time!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will tell you, the upgrade from a Pit Boss Grill to a Traeger was pretty amazing.  really, I should have known.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Traeger is the best of the best, and everything else is just a knock off&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I got 5 good years out of my old grill, the time on the farm really took a toll on it (as it did to everything out there).  Dust and grease, they just do not go well together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or maybe they go TOO well together.  All the dust stuck to the grease and man, it needs a good cleaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will keep the new grill covered, clean and in tip top shape! And the best thing, there is no dust here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I try to grill or smoke on this thing every day if possible!  Loving it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WoW (Words of Wisdom): Day 15 &#8211; Schedule time to do nothing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Happiness is refusing to fill your schedule to the absolute brim so you can wring the most you possibly can out of every second of your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s sitting back and reading a book, talking over dinner with someone you love, or just enjoying the small things each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taking this time won\u2019t happen on its own; you have to plan for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take a few moments each day to do nothing; sit back, relax, and let your mind go to a soothing and relaxing place.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few minutes of this each day will help your health, attitude and outlook on the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Contact Tad Brooker tad@thebrookers.com with any comments, or questions.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I will tell you, the upgrade from a Pit Boss Grill to a Traeger was pretty amazing. really, I should have known.
