And well, the old hardwood floor that was very beautiful, it has to go too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They could not match it when they promised they could so, I got the entire first floor done in new &#8216;real hardwood&#8217; at their expense.  Works for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But they told us we would need to got to a hotel or be out of the house while they work as the dust and fumes are very toxic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What better time to get the heck outta there and go on vacation right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our first leg of the vacation was a quick stop in Kansas City for my Dad&#8217;s 80th birthday party, then we will be going on to Branson for a couple days, and after that &#8211; taking the long way home to explore other routes of getting home ANY other way that the boring drive of I-70.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And coming home to a completely finished new flooring, is going to be amazing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let the fun begin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>W are On the road to go on a week long vacation while the crew replaces all the flooring on our house, on the first floor.
