{"id":2301,"date":"2025-05-18T07:17:59","date_gmt":"2025-05-18T13:17:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=2301"},"modified":"2025-05-19T07:24:45","modified_gmt":"2025-05-19T13:24:45","slug":"first-fuel-at-buc-ees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2025\/05\/18\/first-fuel-at-buc-ees\/","title":{"rendered":"First fuel at Buc-ee&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have been here many, MANY times, even &#8216;parked&#8217; at a fuel pump before but I have never actually filled up the truck with fuel here, till today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We stopped to get some snacks and a couple other things, got a nice parking spot right up front and went in and spent way too much money, came out with some good things to eat and sat there and chowed down everything!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are in the process of removing all the grass around the place, I guess the water bills were enormous and they did not want that as a monthly payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hear you Buck-ee&#8217;s, I hear you!  My Johnstown water bill is enormous too, what the heck?? And we are heading into the expensive time of the year right now!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think they need to put some picnic tables around here so people could sit down and enjoy their food a bit.
