I bought a bunch of 5vdc solar panels and have been playing with them.  Found the \u00a0&#8216;XL6009 Power Supply&#8217; that will take the 5v and boost it up to 12vdc, what???<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So this 5v solar panel can charge a 12v Lithium Ion Battery?  OK now we are talking.  And the electronic board was $9.99 for 6 of them.  Adjustable from 6vdc to 35vdc&#8230;  that just amazes me, but I am easily amused &#8211; and have very basic electronic skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyway I set it for 14.25vdc which is on the upper scale to charge a 12vdc battery, and I figured the solar panel will not always have 100% sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pretty cool configuration, now to figure out what I am going to do with it and where I am going to put it.  I might try running a 120vac convertor off of it and see what I can stress test this thing out to do!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I guarantee it will run a 100watt bulb 24\/7 with no problem!
