{"id":2039,"date":"2025-03-12T07:28:12","date_gmt":"2025-03-12T13:28:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=2039"},"modified":"2025-03-15T07:34:54","modified_gmt":"2025-03-15T13:34:54","slug":"a-warm-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2025\/03\/12\/a-warm-fire\/","title":{"rendered":"A warm fire"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I just got the fireplace fixed today, back when it was cold I went to turn it on and no go&#8230;  Pilot lit but the flame would never start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(It worked when we moved in because I tested it&#8230;)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I tried all the basics, even bought a new controller &#8211; the usual thing that goes out, but no luck.  Finally had to call a repairman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His schedule was boooooked and it took a month to get him out here.  He checked it out and quickly realized it was a bad gas valve. Had to order that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few weeks later when it came in, he came out and installed it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wooo hooo, we have a fireplace!  And man does she warm up the place nicely!!! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stella really enjoyed the heat and quickly made her bed right there int he heat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Win win for all of us &#8211; let&#8217;s stay warm while the last bit of winter makes it&#8217;s way out of here and spring sets in!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just got the fireplace fixed today, back when it was cold I went to turn it on and no go&#8230; Pilot lit but the flame would never start.
