We went to leave this morning and my damn truck would not start.  I left my Ham Radio on (For a few days) and it drained the battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thought cars were smart enough to combat this and turn off the power draw so it would not kill the battery.  Nope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the first time, ever, that my truck would not start.  Dammmit!  And we are supposed to be picking up Nik and Rori to go to &#8216;The Little Gym&#8217; now. Gonna be late!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I got the charger on it, which I had to dig out of a box in the garage, I really never use it anymore, but anyways hooked er up and waited 45 minutes for it to charge up in this cold, cold weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And we were off.   Nikki had left and drove there, so we went there to meet them.  We were there before them, and 3 minutes early!  Doh!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The truck had charged up and was back to tip top shape after the drive to Ft Collins and back.  All good, don&#8217;t do that dumb stuff again!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TURN THE HAM RADIO OFF!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brrrr, it has been crazy cold here.
