{"id":1824,"date":"2025-01-06T04:27:16","date_gmt":"2025-01-06T11:27:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=1824"},"modified":"2025-01-11T04:33:08","modified_gmt":"2025-01-11T11:33:08","slug":"disappointed-in-pit-boss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2025\/01\/06\/disappointed-in-pit-boss\/","title":{"rendered":"Disappointed in Pit Boss"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well I hate to say it but I am really Disappointed in Pit Boss, once again my smoker is down &#8211; still under it&#8217;s 5-year warranty but I cannot seem to get anyone to help me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Their website refers me back to where I bought it, Lowes &#8211; while I haven&#8217;t been back there yet &#8211; they offer a 1 year in store warranty, after that I bet they will refer me to the manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will see&#8230;  This is the 3rd time it has broke down, control board, auger and now the igniter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Going to dig around a little more this week and see if I can talk to somebody and get the parts, if I can get them I can fix it &#8211; no harm no foul, but I should not have to PAY for the parts since it is in year 3 of a 5 year warranty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have a Treager in the RV, going to have to run out to storage and grab it for now.
