I still know what I know, but it has been a couple years since I have transmitted on the RF and  had my voice heard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That ends now&#8230;  Ha ha, look out Norther Colorado!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is crazy, 12 miles up the road from the farm and the stations and repeaters I can talk to are different.  I can still get to the big guys up on Squaw Mountain but there a new ones up here Buckhorn Mountain, Horsetooth Mountain, Blue Mountain &amp; Dick Mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I have been working on reprogramming all my radios with the new repeaters, and getting everything set up again in the garage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I miss my big antenna mast out at the farm, 50&#8242; in the air and absolutely NOTHING around to block it&#8217;s communication!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I got the same antenna, and I am going to mount it upright inside my attic, as high as possible and they say that will work perfectly!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The HOA would have a meltdown if I mounted it outside up on a pole or the roof, so I am trying to avoid that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have been getting back into the hobby, and man, it has been a while!
