{"id":1616,"date":"2024-11-02T03:56:55","date_gmt":"2024-11-02T09:56:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=1616"},"modified":"2024-11-07T04:23:04","modified_gmt":"2024-11-07T11:23:04","slug":"day-1-new-orleans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2024\/11\/02\/day-1-new-orleans\/","title":{"rendered":"New Orleans"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was a long flight, we were delayed taking off because a very drunk guy was hauled from the plane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He sat right behind me, with Paula and Art &#8211; doh!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So we were 35 minutes late to take off, long, bumpy flight but we arrived in New Orleans 45 minutes late, grabbed a taxi and made it to our hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We got ready and went to Manning&#8217;s for dinner, a restaurant owned by the Manning family!  It was awesome and I had the Shrimp Po Boy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was so good, I am going to get all the seafood I can on this trip because, well we are right on the ocean!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We hit the swimming pool when we got back to the hotel, outdoor swimming pool in November?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AWESOME!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was a long flight, we were delayed taking off because a very drunk guy was hauled from the plane.
