Always kinda had issues with things not working quite right or having to reboot the TV often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I never really thought much of it until one day it would not turn on, flashed 3 red lights and was dead.  Less than 6 months old and dead.  I looked it up and the 3 flashing red light code was call service, main board needs replaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I immediately called Best Buy because we bout the extended 5 year warranty, and of course they said I have to &#8216;exhaust&#8217; the 1 year factory warranty before their warranty kicks in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Called Sony, they ordered parts, sent a tech out in the next couple days and just like that, new board installed and TV is like new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Funny thing, everything works properly and there are no quirks like it had before.  I think it was bad all along and we &#8216;tolerated&#8217; it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Very happy with the &#8216;fix&#8217; and happy to have my high dollar TV back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>There *IS* a difference!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We bought a $3000 UHD OLED TV when we moved here, the best of the best&#8230; or so I was told.
