Nicole drove home to find me  severely injured on the road, struggling to breathe and barely alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Life has been a physical struggle since then, I am OK now but the first 4 or 5 years were certainly difficult.  I had to relearn everything, I had a traumatic brain injury that still affects me today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I feel I am lucky that I got this second chance at life, and with my will to survive and move on, and of course help from the man upstairs &#8211; here I am.  I am now living the best time of my life, the best days, best weeks, best months and many more of the best years of my life!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A huge thank you to my wife, my daughters and my granddaughter who all bring smiles and add miles to my lifetime every day! I love you all!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Life is a funny game, not always fair, not always fun, but if you play to win and fly straight it is amazing what you can accomplish!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am HAPPY to be here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a picture I took that really just made me think of Peace &amp; Serenity.  Take the time to relax, think and take in everything from your life.
