{"id":1174,"date":"2024-06-24T06:27:34","date_gmt":"2024-06-24T12:27:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=1174"},"modified":"2024-07-01T06:40:19","modified_gmt":"2024-07-01T12:40:19","slug":"first-pick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2024\/06\/24\/first-pick\/","title":{"rendered":"First pick"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I got my first pick from the garden today, a small pepper &#8211; I was hoping it would be a hot one but it was very mild, no spice at all&#8230;  It was very fresh and tasty, and fun to pick from the garden and sample!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I probably have 20 pepper plants out there, many different varieties so you bet the hot ones will come soon enough!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have the garden in the main garden bed and a couple of other raised garden beds, then a couple other pots and planters also, so there will be a plethora of peppers for all!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It seems like peppers grow well here, and they always produce &#8211; so it is a win win for me!
