{"id":1157,"date":"2024-06-19T04:50:16","date_gmt":"2024-06-19T10:50:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/?p=1157"},"modified":"2024-06-22T04:56:34","modified_gmt":"2024-06-22T10:56:34","slug":"check-all-fluids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebrookers.com\/blog\/2024\/06\/19\/check-all-fluids\/","title":{"rendered":"Check all fluids!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I decided to check all fluids on the Corvette before taking &#8216;er out today&#8230;  Lisa called me and said &#8216;check the gas tank too&#8217; after last weeks mishap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Yeah I ran out of gas like a dumbass&#8230;)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everything checked out fine, this thing is tight, no oil leaks, no transmission leaks and everything is pretty near perfect for being 40 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is 100% stock which I sometimes thing about changing but the nostalgia of rolling down the road, everybody looks at it and loves the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is beautiful, runs great and I have been taking it out almost every day after work.  Even if it is just to run to the grocery store!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes it makes the decision to run to King Soopers in Firestone because it is a LONGER ride and more fun, and that is OK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I love Hay&#8217;s Market up here, but the ole&#8217; Sooper&#8217;s is still my favorite, I know where everything is there from many, many years of shopping there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The top is permanently off (For the summer) and I am heading out now!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I decided to check all fluids on the Corvette before taking &#8216;er out today&#8230; Lisa called me and said &#8216;check the gas tank too&#8217; after last weeks mishap.
