I have been working on my indoor farm and my goal is to produce fruit (Jalapenos) inside and totally grown under artificial light. I noticed they were turning a little pale and had some leaves fall off so I had to update my set up.
I was using a small 100 watt LED lamp from Sam’s that worked very well, I just did not think it had enough power to drive the photosynthesis in the leaves…
So I have a BIG powerful 2000 watt LED lamp but it is heavy, so I had to move them from my dresser back into the tent (Which I moved inside for warmth) and am running it at ½ power (1000 Watts) to see if I can darken the color of the leaves.
In reality, I should have some peppers budding by January 24th, so we will see. I picked Jalapenos because they are easy to grow and seem to grow really great outdoors.
I have a variety of other things in there and two house plants, damn those things were not cheap!
If anyone has any houseplants or clippings they want to donate, I am open!! Need to get some greenery around the house this year!!!
