We had the 2023 IT Summit today at work, all day long in a conference room with all of Information Technology, ouch!
It was a long day, but hey – they served us lunch! Ha ha!
They make the meeting very mandatory and I see why, there was a lot of grumbling about it and well if it was not mandatory, many would not have been there.
They shook our teams up so you sat with a table of strangers, I knew over half the people at my table and met a couple new friends.
I think that was the goal to inter-mingle us with other departments and get people talking!
Successful, done and behind us for another year, yeah!
Now that we lost a full day of work, we will pay for this TOMORROW!
