Happy 4th of July, we are off and rolling though the summer! We all went over to Kathy’s house today to watch the parade. Lisa and I barely got in and by the barricades to make it down the street.
A cop stopped us and asked ‘what was our intention’ and we said we were trying to make it to the shop to watch the parade. I think he let us go because we were in the Corvette and the thought we were in the parade.
Anyways we made it there parked and got set up with some chairs and shade to watch the parade go by.
It was pretty good, a long parade – they had some timing issues but everyone eventually made it through!
Good times and Rori loved it!
She got lots of candy and knick-knack’s they threw to the crowd as they passed…
Good start to the holiday!
